I didn't just want to close tickets; I wanted to stop them from coming back. I began using PowerShell and Bash to script fixes for recurring issues—whether it was standardizing server configs or securing remote access. It was here that I fell in love with the idea of automating the "boring stuff" so I could focus on architecture.
